Almaloca

ALMALOCA is a Duo consisting in a male Vocalist-Guitarist (JAAL) and a spanish female Vocalist (GRACE).They occasionally perform with the addition of a drummer if requested in broad Venues.

JAAL combines Flamenco, Rock, Funk, Latin, World and Gypsy-Jazz backgrounds and has performed his guitar skills all across London’s music Venues from the smallest to the biggest, the likes of Hackney Empire and Royal Albert Hall.

GRACE had started a Very successful and Versatile Vocal career in Spain, being broadcasted on TV and Radio, being called to perform in Puerto-Rico with local celebrity artists in domains as opposed as Jazz, Rock, Classical, Latin and Pop.

After doing a major tour over Europe with Bjork and Voices of Europe, then she decided to switch to a London signed Pop-Opera Girl-Band named MILAN led by Top UK Management.

Brought together from their separate paths and projects on a brief

encounter at the Royal Academy of Music, they joined forces to

materialize what was found as a common ground and primary passion:

Performing Latin and Spanish music LIVE on stage!

Together they roamed all across town to perform in almost all spanish and latin Venues in AND out London.

Their repertoire stretches from the Gypsy Kings classics to Salsa-Rumba-Mambo-Bolero-Tango-Flamenco-Mariachi-Cumbia-Samba-Lambada standards but also English contemporary Pop songs performed in a spanish fashion, and EVEN arabic classic Pop songs!

Their polished refined sound and arrangements and their high standard of songs choices always grants them the audiences’s sympathy and appreciation..WHEREVER THEY LAY THEIR GUITARS!
